	First year scouts are working on the Swimming merit badge.
First year scouts participate in the Voyageurs program. This is the entry to their training area.		The Voyageurs are broken up into groups for training. Competition between the groups add some fun and incentive to the week.
What better way to start the week than learning how to tie a scouting basic, the square knot.	Knife and axe use is taught as well. (Is he counting his fingers?)		This session ends with a knot tying contest.
